Overview:
Our client, a well-established mid-sized law firm in Rochester, NY, is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional to handle complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases within a respected firm known for its collaborative culture and commitment to client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of personal injury and medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery demands.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Develop litigation strategies and provide regular updates to clients.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service.
Requirements:
- Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Experiences: Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice.
- Other:
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-focused, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- Full-time
- Work arrangement: On-site (five days a week at the Rochester, NY office).
