Ascend Learning is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join the Software Reliability Engineering team for Summer 2026. This full-time hybrid role focuses on developing and maintaining containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines, requiring collaboration and technical expertise.
Responsibilities: The intern will develop and enhance containerized applications, implement automated pipelines, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with team members while providing technical support for production issues.
Skills: Candidates should have skills in Linux, Kubernetes, Python, and Git, with familiarity in Pulumi, Kafka, and Postgres preferred, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications: Candidates should be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field and have exposure to Agile methodologies.
Location: This position is hybrid, based out of the Leawood, Kansas office.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $20 - $40.

Ascend Learning is hiring an Intern Software Engineer for our Software Reliability Engineering team. The Intern Software Engineer will have responsibility for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines in a for-profit organization utilizing a variety of technologies. This is a full-time intern position for Summer 2026 in our Leawood, KS office/hybrid.
