Job Description
At Anomali, we specialize in cybersecurity software, empowering organizations to detect and respond to threats more swiftly and effectively. Cybersecurity is becoming a big data problem and we’ll need to leverage multiple technologies to address it. We are seeking a highly technical and innovative Graduate Software Engineer who is hungry for knowledge, learns quickly and thinks outside the box. Responsibilities:
o Develop specifications in collaboration with stakeholders
o Design and Develop features for SaaS and Virtual Appliance form factors
o Write efficient code that is reusable and testable
o Participate in design and code reviews
o Rotational on-call duties for SaaS services
Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience:
o This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship to work in the US.
o BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
o Proficient with Python, Java, C/C++ or another backend language used in distributed systems
o Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar database/cache systems
o Strong problem-solving ability and desire to work on complex, real-world problems
o Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
o This is a hybrid opportunity at our Redwood City, CA office location. Relocation assistance is not provided. Full remote is not an option. We value collaboration on-site.
Desired Skills/Experience:
o Experience with AWS, VMWare, Docker, or Kubernetes
o Exposure to cybersecurity tools (SIEM, IDP, IDS, firewalls)
o Background in big data systems (e.g. Apache, Spark)
o Experience in writing Python applications to run on Linux and Windows
o Prior participation in coding competitions (eg., Codeforces, USACO Platinum, ICPC) is highly regarded
o Interest in Generative AI applications

$90,000 - $140,000 USD
Please note that the annual base salary range is a guideline and, for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as, knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for benefits, and may be eligible for equity.
