Skills
- 2+ years in process planning or technical writing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic software development proficiency and familiarity with applying dev best practices to docs
- Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Experience evaluating or implementing documentation and automation tools (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders through need-finding, execution, field testing, and validation
- Produce user guides, release notes, troubleshooting guides, and API documentation
- Identify documentation gaps and create materials to close those gaps for frontline decision makers
- Develop and refine style guides, documentation lifecycle processes, and review workflows
- Work with engineering to deliver user-friendly content and improve documentation tooling and infrastructure
- Support field testing and validation to ensure documentation accuracy and usability
Education
- No specific degree required; relevant experience in technical writing or manufacturing operations is valued
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
