Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to component-level design engineers
- Perform CAD design of motor cases, nozzles, igniters, and related mechanical components
- Conduct finite element analysis for structural and thermal systems
- Generate, review, and release engineering drawings and product definition
- Create reports and presentations documenting analyses and design rationale
- Present designs in internal and customer design reviews
- Support prototyping, manufacturing, and test operations onsite and at supplier facilities
- Own development of critical systems and subsystems from concept through production
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar required
- Advanced degree in related field preferred but not required
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GD&T) are a plus
