- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (minimum)
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience managing technical programs
- Experience in DoD or similar government contracting environments
- Experience with communications systems or software-defined radios (SDR)
- Experience deploying and integrating complex hardware/software systems
- Program management experience; CAPM/PMP a plus
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and cross-functional coordination
Responsibilities
- Own program execution from proposal through delivery, including technical path, schedule, and budget.
- Embed with customers to gather mission requirements, validate outcomes, and represent customer needs to engineering teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, product, logistics, finance, legal, contracting, operations) to build and integrate solutions.
- Develop sprint plans, milestones, execution plans, and communicate path-to-success to stakeholders.
- Manage deployment and integration of complex hardware and software systems including communications/SDR components.
- Grow business via customer success, identifying opportunities for follow-on work and articulating technical value to executives and end users.
- Maintain program documentation: proposals, program plans, reports, and process artifacts.
- Recruit, lead, and develop engineering teams; drive decisions in ambiguous and resource-constrained environments.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (minimum)
- Advanced degree (MS) preferred but not required
- PMP or CAPM certification considered a plus
- Active U.S. Secret clearance required or ability to maintain one
