Responsibilities
- Author, review, and edit S1000D data modules and technical publications using Siemens Rapid Author
- Manage scope, schedule, and contractual milestones for technical manual (TM) development for internal teams and 1099 partners
- Lead and mentor a team of technical writers to deliver defect-free contract deliverables on time
- Coordinate with engineers, operations, product, account teams, and government stakeholders to gather requirements and close documentation gaps
- Create and maintain technical manuals, operational procedures, maintenance manuals, checklists, templates, user guides, troubleshooting guides, and release notes
- Monitor team progress, provide weekly status reporting, and manage program risks with transparent communication
- Act as single point of contact for TM project communications with internal stakeholders and government customers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant technical writing or documentation certifications preferred
- U.S. eligibility for required security clearance
