- Debugging custom hardware and embedded systems
- Enterprise build and deployment systems (CI/CD, artifact pipelines)
- Image building infrastructure for embedded Linux
- Nix/NixOS/Nixpkgs (preferred)
- Typed functional programming experience (Haskell, OCaml, Scala, Rust, etc.) (preferred)
- AArch64 Embedded Linux bringup and productization (preferred)
- Linux kernel module and custom driver development (preferred)
- FPGA toolchain and development (preferred)
- MATLAB with C code generation (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Bring up NixOS on custom EW hardware in collaboration with electrical, RF, and FPGA engineers
- Design and implement build, image, and deployment infrastructure for embedded Linux targets
- Own and improve the software supply chain and CI/CD pipelines for EW software
- Debug and diagnose issues on custom hardware and embedded images
- Define and execute roadmaps to streamline delivery of capabilities to customers
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, FPGA, software)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant discipline is a plus but not required
