- Systems Security Engineering and architecture
- Knowledge of USG cyber methodologies (JSIG, ICD 503, NIST SP 800-160, CMMC)
- Cyber Survivability guidance and policy experience
- RMF and authorization artifact development
- Threat modeling and mission risk prioritization
- Security testing and evaluation (T&E, red teaming, vulnerability assessment)
- Technical writing and documentation for security artifacts
- Ability to interact effectively with government customers
Responsibilities
- Integrate and champion Systems Security Engineering processes to prevent, mitigate, and recover from advanced cyberattacks
- Develop system security architectures and derive/decompose security requirements across product lines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design features that meet or exceed industry security goals
- Identify and prioritize mission-based cyber risks and convert threat landscapes into actionable engineering decisions
- Develop, execute, and support system-level security tests, demonstrations, evaluations, and customer-led assessments
- Create and maintain technical documentation including trade studies, analyses, and system security deliverables
- Support major program milestone deliveries (e.g., SRR, SVR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR)
- Brief and coordinate regularly with technically oriented government customers and stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred but not required
- Active U.S. Top Secret clearance and eligibility to maintain it
