Responsibilities
- Lead system design, requirements generation, and requirements analysis across multidisciplinary teams.
- Integrate sensors, navigation, propulsion, communications, autonomy software, and power subsystems into complete AUV platforms.
- Develop and execute integration, verification, and validation plans; lead design and test reviews.
- Support development and execution of comprehensive test plans and conduct field/sea test activities.
- Act as technical lead for troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance during development and at-sea operations.
- Maintain configuration control, versioning, documentation, and safety compliance throughout development and testing.
- Collaborate with external partners and customers to integrate payloads and support program needs, including proposal technical content.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace) or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in engineering or related discipline preferred
