- Proficiency in modern web frontend languages (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) and React.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as C++, Rust, or Golang for high-performance services.
- Familiarity with networking paradigms (TCP/UDP/Multicast), HTTP/REST, and protobuf/gRPC.
- Experience building data-intensive, map-based, or real-time user interfaces.
- Ability to gather user requirements, empathize with users, and balance UX with engineering constraints.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy real-time, map-based user interfaces for sensor visualization and vehicle control.
- Define foundational backend and frontend architectures and make scalable trade-offs.
- Collaborate with chief engineers, program managers, flight-test engineers, and end users to iterate on UX and capabilities.
- Develop high-performance backend services in C++, Rust, or Go and integrate with frontend TypeScript/React applications.
- Work with CI/CD, Docker, NixOS, and other lifecycle tools to deliver production software.
- Validate software via simulation, bench tests, and live flight testing.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field (required).
