Skills
- Deep iOS ecosystem knowledge (concurrency, performance, debugging, build & delivery)
- Proven experience delivering and maintaining production iOS SDKs or apps
- Comfort with at least one cross-platform environment: React Native (TypeScript), Flutter (Dart), or Unity (C#)
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the Braze iOS SDK with a focus on performance, reliability, and clean APIs
- Make opinionated, future-oriented architecture decisions and drive technical direction for mobile SDKs
- Collaborate across teams to integrate SDK features and ensure seamless developer experience
- Contribute to multi-platform SDKs (React Native, Flutter, Unity) and cross-system integrations when needed
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and help uplevel peers
- Diagnose and resolve production issues including performance, concurrency, and build problems
- Own parts of the build, delivery, dependency management, and semantic versioning processes
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
- Relevant professional experience can substitute for formal degree requirements
