Skills
- 7+ years software engineering using languages such as Python, Rust, Go
- Experience building systems that process and analyze significant volumes of data
- Ability to rapidly understand and navigate complex codebases and system architectures
- Experience with networking, autonomy, systems integration, and robotics or embedded systems
- Strong debugging, metrics-driven troubleshooting, and operational focus
- Active U.S. Secret clearance and willingness to travel for deployments
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain software solutions deployed to customers and fielded systems
- Write robust code to improve product capability and scale mission performance
- Collaborate across product, engineering, operations, and mission teams to plan, build, and test complex features
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging, monitoring, and performance validation
- Triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation and next steps
- Partner closely with end users to translate operational needs into pragmatic software features
- Travel (~30%) to build, test, and deploy solutions in operational environments
Education
- Strong engineering background from industry or school
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
