Skills
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, operators)
- Practical experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, Load Balancers, Route53, VPCs)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and scripting/programming (Go, Python, Rust, or C++)
- Designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Networking fundamentals and cloud networking configuration
- Experience with performance monitoring, alerting, and systems reliability
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Design and implement infrastructure as code (Terraform) and automation tooling (Python, Go, etc.)
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to plan and execute internal and external deployments
- Promote SRE best practices around resilience, monitoring, alerting and high availability
- Perform root cause analysis and create tooling to manage and scale large fleets
- Lead large, focused projects and mentor other engineers to improve operations and developer experience
- Manage hybrid deployments across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Relevant industry certifications and continuous professional development preferred
