Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-volume production automation systems and universal robotic cells
- Develop user interfaces and software for automation equipment and test fixtures
- Integrate automation systems with ERP, MES, and PLM systems
- Define and standardize automation and control hardware/software platforms (PLC controllers, common cell architectures)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, production, design, and software engineering teams
- Scale and replicate automation systems across multiple production locations
- Develop and maintain controls and automation infrastructure and documentation
- Ensure machine safety compliance and lead machine safety evaluations in production environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
