Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and report flight tests for software and hardware subsystems across Group 1–3 VTOL platforms.
- Support daily flight test operations and multi-location test campaigns aligned with product roadmap and production schedule.
- Create and manage test cards, pre- and post-flight briefings, and safety/test readiness reviews.
- Maintain configuration management and inventory plans to ensure test assets are mission capable.
- Collect, analyze, and report metrics on product performance, progression, and maturity.
- Coordinate cross-functional test events with pilots, engineering SMEs, operations, and program management.
- Document test procedures, results, and characterization of issues for stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach team members for test readiness and safety compliance.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or closely related technical discipline (required)
- Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred)
