Skills
- Hardware debugging experience on custom platforms
- Experience with enterprise build and deployment systems and CI/CD
- Experience with image building infrastructure for embedded Linux systems
- Familiarity with Nix/NixOS/Nixpkgs (professional or open-source)
- Experience with typed/functional languages (Haskell, OCaml, Rust, Scala, etc.)
- AArch64 embedded Linux product bring-up experience
- Linux kernel module and custom driver development experience
- FPGA development or close collaboration with FPGA engineers
- Experience with MATLAB and C code generation (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform NixOS bring-up and integration on custom embedded hardware platforms
- Design and implement image-building and deployment infrastructure for embedded Linux targets
- Build and maintain the software supply chain and CI/CD pipelines for EW software
- Collaborate with electrical, FPGA, RF, and systems engineers during hardware bring-up and validation
- Debug hardware-software interactions and diagnose platform-level issues
- Shape roadmap for build, deployment, and CI/CD tooling to accelerate delivery
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Continued learning or contributions in open-source communities preferred
