- Full-cycle PCB design and board bring-up
- Proficiency with lab test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, DMM, thermal chambers)
- Experience with interfaces: Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB
- Familiarity with MCUs, CPUs, and FPGAs
- Comfortable with electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred)
- Signal integrity and power integrity design experience
- Battery systems design and support
- High-reliability and fieldable system design
- Experience with RF systems and payload/sensor integration
- Design and integration of high-power electronics
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle PCB design: requirements, schematics, component selection, layout supervision, bring-up, test, debug and system integration
- Develop payloads and subsystems including sensors, payload interfaces, power management, and networking
- Define system interconnects and wire harnesses; produce system-level diagrams
- Troubleshoot cross-domain issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and software tools
- Support integration, qualification, and testing of rotorcraft systems through TRLs 3–8
- Perform system design & analysis, conduct design reviews, requirements analysis, and verification planning
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers throughout design and fielding
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
