- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder briefing skills
Responsibilities
- Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for system integration, developmental, and operational tests across software-enabled hardware and software systems.
- Manage, mentor, and provide technical leadership to a team of test engineers and technicians.
- Define and implement verification strategies including requirements-based, scenario-based, and operationally relevant test methods.
- Coordinate cross-functional test activities with engineering, program management, government stakeholders, and external ranges/agencies.
- Oversee Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), manage test incidents, and track/communicate deficiencies and corrective actions.
- Establish and monitor measurable test coverage and traceability from requirements through verification results.
- Perform and supervise data collection and analysis to produce actionable findings and test metrics.
- Represent the program at customer reviews, readiness boards, and milestone decision points; ensure safe execution in lab and austere field settings.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline required
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field preferred
- Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements
