Skills
- Current U.S. TOP SECRET clearance or ability to obtain
- Strong knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, and related DoD security guidance
- Experience with DISS, e-QIP, NISS, and SIMS
- COMSEC custodian knowledge and handling procedures
- Physical security experience including Open Storage Areas and access control systems
- Experience delivering security briefings, indoctrinations, and foreign travel counseling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to translate policy into practical procedures in a manufacturing setting
Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day industrial security program activities (personnel processing, inventories, audits, document control, visit certifications, mail/logs).
- Maintain and update DISS and NISS records for assigned operating location and process change requests.
- Prepare for and conduct self-inspections, Security Vulnerability Assessments, and remedial action tracking.
- Coordinate Open Storage Area (OSA) buildouts from proposal through accreditation and manufacturing integration.
- Manage access control, badge issuance, courier authorizations, and collateral facility security systems.
- Provide security training (indoctrinations, briefings, OPSEC, COMSEC handling) and guidance to cleared staff.
- Review PWS/SOW and ensure proper DD Form 254 execution; support RFP/BAA security inputs.
- Report security incidents and escalate to Deputy Director/Director of Industrial and Special Program Security.
- Maintain hard-copy and electronic records, update SIMS and other security databases, and prepare required reports.
- Collaborate with Program Management, Classified IT, Insider Threat, Counterintelligence, Physical Security, and Legal teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4 years) preferred
- DISS/NISS training completion required
- Facility Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification required
- Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification current or obtainable
