Skills
- Experience debugging custom hardware and hardware-software integration.
- Experience with enterprise build and deployment systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building images and image-building infrastructure for embedded Linux.
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and embedded bringup experience.
- Familiarity with build automation and reproducible build tooling (Nix/NixOS strongly preferred).
Responsibilities
- Bring up NixOS on custom embedded hardware platforms in collaboration with electrical and FPGA engineers.
- Design, implement, and maintain image-building and deployment infrastructure for embedded Linux targets.
- Build and operate enterprise build, CI/CD, and release pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Debug hardware-software interactions and iterate on board bringup and driver integration.
- Shape roadmaps for build, deployment, and CI/CD to support EW capability delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, RF, FPGA, and software teams to meet product goals.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a related discipline is a plus but not required.
