Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electronics for airborne EO/IR systems including sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management
- Support systems engineering to define and refine requirements using physics-based sensor and system performance models
- Collaborate on PCB layout design and reviews with the electrical engineering team
- Conduct laboratory, ground, and flight testing; collect and analyze test data and provide actionable feedback
- Troubleshoot electronic components and subsystems to ensure optimal performance
- Support system integration efforts with cross-disciplinary project teams and technical leads
- Document test results, system designs, and processes to maintain thorough technical records
Education
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant technical coursework or experience in electronics, signal processing, or embedded systems
