The Legal Assistant role supports our Legal and Compliance Department by providing litigation support, managing and processing subpoenas and record requests, and providing administrative support. This role is essential to ensure the department operates efficiently and aligns with AMN’s mission and values.
This is a hybrid role, and work will be in our Coppell office two days per week.
Subpoenas / Record Requests: Process subpoenas and requests for employment records
Litigation Support: Support AMN’s litigation team, including assisting with discovery, creating timelines, preparing exhibits, reviewing draft discovery and legal briefs, and searching documents
Managing Systems:
Manage electronic billing system used for outside counsel spend
Manage litigation matter management system
Document Management: Assist attorneys in issuing litigation holds, reviewing and processing discovery, and organizing case files
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys and senior leaders of the Legal & Compliance department as needed, including reviewing and filing mail, notarizing documents, and processing bills and settlements
Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills with high work standards and attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Education/Certifications: Associate degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: Experience legal assistant, paralegal, or similar roles
