Skills
- Deep Drupal site-building and module experience (Views, Layout Builder, Media Library, Webform, Taxonomy, Search API, Paragraphs, CKEditor).
- Proficient in PHP and custom Drupal module development.
- Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, JavaScript/jQuery and Twig templating.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Behat, Selenium) and testing best practices.
- Familiarity with LAMP environments and deployment workflows using Git/GitHub.
- Experience building sites to Section 508 / accessibility standards.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile/iterative processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain custom Drupal features, modules, and themes.
- Translate layouts and wireframes into responsive HTML/CSS and Drupal theme templates (Twig).
- Ensure high performance, availability, and security of the CMS (patches, upgrades, monitoring).
- Implement and maintain data visualization and user-facing features within Drupal.
- Develop, run, and maintain automated tests (Playwright, Behat, Selenium, or similar).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other developers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Archive, document, and update site content; ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Troubleshoot, test, and deploy code to version control repositories (Git/GitHub) following SDLC practices.
Education
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field with 4+ years of professional Drupal development experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 6+ years of professional Drupal development experience.
