POSITION SUMMARY:
Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our lodging team. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional guest and homeowner service, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests and visitors. As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in representing the resort and creating a positive first impression. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver exceptional guest service
- Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting
- Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries
- Respond promptly to guest requests
- Address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email
- Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion, assisting when necessary
- Prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports
- Assist with snow shoveling in the front desk area as needed
- Maintain lobby coffee service
- Assist in mailroom operations
- Perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean
- Provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous guest service experience preferred
- Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Basic accounting skills
- Flexibility to work various schedules, including holidays and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Capability to work independently without supervision
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and address issues effectively
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with office suites and the ability to learn new software
- Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record
