Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support our internal and external communication efforts, assist in creating written materials, coordinate messaging strategies, and ensure brand consistency. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for clarity in communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting press releases, newsletters, and other written content

• Coordinate internal communications and updates for staff

• Support the planning and execution of public relations campaigns

• Track media coverage and maintain contact databases

• Prepare briefing materials, reports, and meeting summaries

• Assist with the development of presentations and communication plans

• Ensure brand tone and message consistency across materials

• Provide administrative support to the communications team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field

• 1-2 years of experience in a communications or administrative role

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

• Experience with copyediting and proofreading is a plus
