Staff Software Engineer

We started in 2019, are largely bootstrapped, profitable, and growing rapidly. We simplify the process for patients to obtain insurance-reimbursed therapy by pairing them with their preferred therapist. Our platform enables therapists to maintain a high-quality caseload, establish a thriving practice, and equips them with advanced technology and support.

Our dedicated team is committed to creating a positive impact in the lives of countless individuals seeking mental health support. We are currently looking for an experienced and talented Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team and help us make a difference.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the founders to develop, implement, and maintain a high-quality web application.

Utilize React JS, HTML, and CSS for front-end development, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.

Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node JS and Python for back-end development.

Integrate APIs to streamline processes and enhance the functionality of our platform.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices and industry standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize our web applications to enhance performance and maintain scalability.

Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of our codebase.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful project completion and a positive work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

6+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on web development.

Deep understanding of scalable system architecture and building performant applications

Strong proficiency in React JS, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.

Extensive experience with Node JS and Python for back-end development.

API integration experience strongly preferred.

Familiarity with Google Cloud and Firebase is strongly preferred.

Familiarity with building secure backend systems and dev ops is strongly preferred.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
