The Marketing team at Airwallex drives brand awareness and customer engagement through innovative and strategic campaigns. What you’ll do

As our Senior Associate, Content Marketing in AMER, you’ll help scale content production and experiment with new ways to reach and engage our audience across the US and Canada. You’ll support a wide range of initiatives – from sales enablement and case studies to thought leadership articles and landing pages – while helping to pilot new programs like generative AI SEO tools, newsletter promotions, and webinars. You’ll collaborate across teams, help manage content workflows and reporting, and play a key role in growing Airwallex’s brand and performance in the region. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and editor, with proven project management skills and a sharp understanding of how to create impactful content in a fast-moving fintech environment.

This role is based in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

  • Ideate, draft, edit, and localize a wide range of content – including blogs, landing pages, one-pagers, and white papers – tailored to the US and Canada.

  • Keep content efforts on track by managing the editorial calendar, tracking deadlines, and updating reporting dashboards.

  • Help pilot new content programs like generative AI SEO tools, newsletter promotions, and formats like video.

  • Write promotional copy for paid ads, email campaigns, and sponsored content placements.

  • Support content quality and delivery by managing review cycles, coordinating with agencies, and ensuring smooth execution across teams.

Who you are

We're seeking individuals who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in content marketing, PR, communications or copywriting.

  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as Contentful, WordPress or similar.

  • Experience with utilizing SEO tools such as SEMrush, SurferSEO, SE Ranking, or similar.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for clarity, tone, and accuracy.

  • You embrace generative AI tools to accelerate content creation, but know how to edit for quality, accuracy, and brand voice.

  • Comfort with managing multiple deadlines and juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in ambiguous work environments where you’ve had to quickly learn new technology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in fintech or B2B SaaS.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and GA4 for tracking content performance and supporting campaign reporting.

  • Understanding of fintech trends and players in the Canadian market.
