Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain service reliability, monitoring, and alerting tools and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliability is incorporated into service design and automation.
- Identify and drive improvements for scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop tools to support SREs in managing operational challenges.
- Participate in incident response, act as Incident Commander during high-severity incidents, and lead post-mortems.
- Evaluate new technologies and best practices to enhance tooling and incident response.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a blameless, learning-focused incident culture.
- Maintain deep understanding of critical services, infrastructure, and processes.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
