Job Description

AECOM's Transportation business line has a position available in Piscataway or Bloomfield, NJ for a Senior Right of Way Engineer - This candidate must be very familiar with NJTA and NJDOT ROW plan and document production.  Design work will include Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design, and Final Design.  This is a hybrid-role requiring in-office presence 3 days/week.

The individual in this role will be entrusted with critical responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding of NJ ROW Law and appraisal processes for Transportation projects.
  • Experience in the preparation and review of all right of way deliverables in accordance with NJTA and NJDOT procedures and standards.
  • Experience in the preparation and review of jurisdiction and maintenance limit maps and agreements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil Engineering plus eight years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • PE in New Jersey State or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant experience using engineering design, modeling, and drafting software (Bentley or AutoDesk)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • Relocation is not available for this position.
