AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Technical Director for our growing Pipeline Design Practice, with a home base in New England. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated team member to work on a variety of water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater treatment and conveyance projects as an Engineering Technical Director. It is expected that this role will provide support to projects throughout the Northeast US. The position is flexible between our Boston MA, Chelmsford MA, Rocky Hill CT or Providence RI office and is a hybrid position.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large diameter conveyance pipelines for water, wastewater, and/or stormwater design, analysis, installation, inspection, and leak detection in dense urban settings. The preferred candidate will be energetic and have a proven ability to lead a team of engineers and designers to deliver successful projects.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an established and successful local and national group that offers a diverse range of technical challenges and career development opportunities. You will interact throughout AECOM and externally with clients to conceptualize and develop conveyance infrastructure that is reliable, sustainable, and resilient.
