Desktop Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration of Tablets/Laptop/Desktop as per the IT established process
- Install Operating system on laptops/desktops
- Manage Logistics & shipments of ITAssets
- Coordination with OEM vendor if any support is required
- Diagnose and resolve basic to intermediate technical issues at Hardware level, Software & application level
- Collaborate with ITSupport team working from INDIA location for the shipment/retrieval activity and physical asset verification.
- Maintain accurate records of IT Asset Inventory
- Assist in creating and maintaining Hardware in/out tracker.
- Provide remote support to Infrastructure team for Hardware related setup, troubleshooting at Data Center as per business requirement including weekend downtime activities.
Qualifications:
- Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical support or Desktop support role.
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common software applications.
- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ticketing systems & ITAsset Management is Addon advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory User Management, DNS, DHCP functionality
Work Location:
- On-site role based in Skypark, IRVINE California.
