Adaptive is a cybersecurity startup on a mission to stop AI-powered cyberattacks, founded by Brian Long and Andrew Jones—proven entrepreneurs behind Attentive (Forbes Cloud 100, $10B+ valuation) and TapCommerce (acquired by Twitter). In April 2025, Adaptive raised $43M, led by a16z and the OpenAI Fund, marking OpenAI's first-ever cybersecurity investment.
As generative AI drives new cyber threats, Adaptive is building the defense layer every organization needs. Our platform combines personalized security training, AI-driven attack simulations, and automated threat triage, all powered by the Adaptive Risk Intelligence Engine to quantify human risk at the individual level. Trusted by top banks, tech companies, and healthcare organizations, we protect teams from emerging threats like deepfakes, smishing, and voice scams. With a solid product foundation and a $200B+ market to transform, we're just getting started.
Adaptive is looking for a Videographer to tell our story through motion, visuals, and sound. This is a hands-on video role — perfect for someone who’s a creative swiss army knife, confident in shooting, lighting, audio capture and editing.
You’ll report to the Lead of Video Content helping create videos that bring our brand and products to life: from shooting interviews and teleprompter scripted videos to crafting high-impact promotional edits and product explainers. You’ll work closely with our marketing, design, and leadership teams to capture Adaptive’s voice and energy across every frame.
This is an opportunity to help shape the visual narrative of one of the most exciting startups in cybersecurity, right from our Beverly Hills-area HQ.
Create compelling video content: Plan, shoot, and edit videos for marketing campaigns, social media, the website, and internal initiatives.
Own the production process: Handle everything from lighting, camera and audio setup to editing high impact videos with multiple cut downs.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with design, marketing, and leadership teams to produce high-quality visual stories that align with our brand.
Run the set: As our LA based video expert, you will coordinate small shoots, interviews, and product demos with clarity and confidence.
Manage video assets: Keep content organized, version-controlled, and ready for reuse across channels.
Experiment & innovate: Explore motion graphics, dynamic cuts, and new video formats to push our creative edge.
Experienced Creator: 2–4 years of experience in video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing versatility — from cinematic storytelling to sharp, short-form edits.
Technically Skilled: An expert with cameras (we currently have a Canon cinema setup), lighting kits, and audio gear. Proficient in Adobe Premiere, bonus points if you have skills in After Effects and DaVinci Resolve (or equivalent).
Creative & Resourceful: You thrive in fast-paced environments and love finding clever ways to make great work with limited setups.
Collaborative: You value feedback, love brainstorming, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: Experience with animation, AI video creation, or photography.
Creative Autonomy: Freedom to experiment with storytelling formats and new ideas.
Mentorship & Growth: Direct collaboration with senior marketing and creative leaders, plus access to top-tier resources.
Equity & Upside: Share in Adaptive’s success alongside seasoned founders with multiple $B+ exits.
Comprehensive Benefits: Premium medical, dental, and vision coverage.
High-Impact Work: See your videos live quickly across campaigns, launches, and social media.
Culture of Innovation: A fast-paced, collaborative environment that rewards creativity and bold thinking.
If you’re ready to help our team build a visual identity from the ground up, capturing the energy and innovation of a company redefining cybersecurity, join Adaptive as our Videographer.
