- Familiarity with CISA IoCs and conducting IoC analysis.
- Experience analyzing nation-state cyber activity and cyber analytics.
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms, SIEMs, and network monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for threat characterization.
- Experience investigating ransomware activity is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DHS suitability.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and help mitigate cybersecurity threats to organizational assets and data.
- Analyze and interpret CISA Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) according to client guidance.
- Monitor and investigate threats using threat intelligence platforms, SIEMs, and network monitoring tools.
- Support incident response by providing timely threat context and recommended mitigations.
- Engage with industry partners and information-sharing communities to gather intelligence and uncover vulnerabilities.
- Track and report on evolving cyber trends, adversary TTPs, and key players to inform risk decisions.
- Produce actionable intelligence briefs, reporting, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GCTI, Security+) are beneficial.
- Ongoing training and industry certifications supported by employer.
