Skills
- Proficient in Go (Golang) with strong concurrency and parallelism skills
- Experience with GRPC, Protobuf, net/http, and TLS
- Designing and building large-scale distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Go web frameworks such as Gin or Echo
- Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation and version control with Git
- Proficiency in front-end JavaScript and React
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs in Go
- Integrate services with databases and analytics platforms (PostgreSQL, AWS Athena, Trino, Redis)
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests; monitor and optimize system performance
- Participate in and lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and foster technical growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional and external teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Ensure secure implementations and follow security best practices in service design
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of degree
