Responsibilities
Design and implement robust JavaScript solutions for interacting with 3rd party web application data.
Develop browser extensions or scripts for real-time data analysis.
Create maintainable and scalable code that can adapt to website changes.
Debug complex DOM interactions and event propagation.
Implement data transformation and modification capabilities.
Write comprehensive documentation and maintain code quality.
Develop tests for existing code to catch bugs and ensure the software is secure and stable.
Requirements
Either a bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving coding (e.g., computer science, engineering, information technology) or equivalent technical experience
5-8 years of advanced JavaScript programming.
Deep understanding of DOM internals including traversal and manipulation.
Expert knowledge of event handling and propagation.
Experience with modern web frameworks (React/Angular/Vue/Preact etc).
2+ years of browser extension or web scraping/data extraction experience with strong understanding of browser internals.
Proven track record of complex web application development.
Experience leveraging LLMs for automation is a major plus.
Familiarity with common programming best practices, data patterns, and software design structures.

$135,000-$188,000 (Bay Area)
