Senior Product Manager

About VacationRenter

VacationRenter is the fastest growing vacation rental search engine. We love travel, but not how time-consuming and complex it can be to find the right place to stay. So we reimagined a better way. We eliminated the need to search across several different sites and scroll through pages of irrelevant results just to find the perfect home away from home. We bring all the lodging options from the leading travel sites together in one place and showcase only the best results for each traveler.

VacationRenter was founded in 2018 and by 2020 had already driven over $1 billion in gross bookings, making us not only one of the fastest-growing websites across any industry but also the fastest-growing travel company, ever. Due to this strong growth, VacationRenter was named to SimilarWeb's 100 fast-growing websites of 2020 and 2024.

VacationRenter was born inside Wilbur Labs, a Miami-based startup studio. Founded by ex-Googlers, VacationRenter combines an intuitive user experience with data-driven automation to help travelers find the perfect vacation rental.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager with a strong background and experience in B2C applications to drive user growth, engagement, loyalty and conversion. You’ll lead end-to-end initiatives that directly influence company performance by improving user acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. While the initial focus will be on the mobile application, the role will expand over time to include broader platform initiatives that elevate the overall user experience and business impact.

This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, ideal for a highly responsible, analytical, and hands-on PM who thrives in a fast-moving environment and delivers measurable business results.

This is a full-time hybrid position, based in Dallas.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize the user conversion funnel to increase activation and reduce churn, translating findings into product strategies that improve overall business performance
  • Develop and optimize user profiles and personas to guide personalization, retention, and upsell opportunities
  • Communicate product vision, goals, and performance updates across all stakeholders, clearly connecting feature delivery to company-wide results
  • Define, test, and launch new features through A/B testing and data-driven experimentation, to validate user and business impact
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, and marketing to deliver seamless user experiences and support growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate and optimize third-party tracking platforms (e.g., Firebase & Kochava) to measure campaign attribution, user engagement, and ROI
  • Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to ensure execution quality, velocity, and alignment with priorities
  • Oversee QA and regression testing for high-confidence mobile releases
  • Conduct competitive and quantitative analysis to identify growth opportunities and feature priorities

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and/or mobile/web analytics
  • Proven track record driving growth, engagement, and conversion for consumer mobile applications
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in A/B testing, funnel metrics, and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to align the team towards a shared goal
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong ownership mindset
  • Bonus points for experience in integrating AI-driven tools and frameworks to develop proofs of concept (POCs) for personalization, automation, and user insights

Preferred Qualifications & Prior Experience:
  • Experience at a startup or travel-tech company
  • Experience with mobile analytics, attribution, and engagement platforms (e.g., Firebase, Kochava, Mixpanel, Braze, PostHog, or similar tools)
  • Technical familiarity with React Native, Flutter, Node.js, GCP, and SQL
  • Background in cross-platform systems or mobile infrastructure
  • Passion for travel, innovation, and creating experiences that inspire exploration

  • Top-tier laptop provided
  • 100% company-paid health benefits for base plan coverage, with the option to upgrade to higher-tier plans
  • 401(k) with company match
