Responsibilities
- Build new infrastructure capabilities into MediaWiki and related services
- Profile, refactor, and optimize infrastructure to enable new tooling and faster feature development
- Maintain and evolve pieces of infrastructure software with a focus on long-term sustainability
- Write resilient, maintainable systems and high-quality code
- Implement and improve observability to maintain system stability and quality
- Drive cross-team objectives and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to maximize user impact
Education
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in computer science, MIS, or a STEM field, or equivalent certification/experience
