About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Writer to join our growing team at webAI, Inc. In this role, you will play a critical part in making our developer tools and platform accessible, understandable, and usable through clear, precise, and engaging documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to create and maintain a best-in-class documentation experience for developers, technical stakeholders, and non-technical users alike.

This is a unique opportunity to shape how webAI communicates complex technical concepts across distributed AI infrastructure, edge computing, and model deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable, user-centric documentation libraries that support a wide range of audiences.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accurate documentation, including SDK and API references, tutorials, and integration guides.

• Define, uphold, and evolve documentation standards and style guidelines across the organization.

• Identify gaps in content and proactively drive improvements that enhance the developer and end-user experience.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams to produce trusted, up-to-date documentation.

• Support engineers in creating and refining user-facing content, including procedural and instructional materials.

• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting quality standards and deadlines.

• Ensure content is discoverable, navigable, and aligned with product evolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., English, Communications, Computer Science, or similar).

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role, ideally in a fast-paced technology or software environment.

• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality technical documentation for developers, including SDK and API references.

• Proven experience translating complex technical content for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.

• Familiarity with tools such as Markdown, Git, documentation generators (e.g., Sphinx, Jekyll, Docusaurus), and API reference frameworks is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI/ML, distributed systems, or edge computing.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.

• Proficient in Git and documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Sphinx, Docusaurus).

• Ability to create visuals like diagrams and flowcharts.

• Background in fast-paced tech environments or startups.

• Basic understanding of programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
