Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams following company protocols and standards of care
- Communicate eye health findings, eyewear and prescription recommendations to patients
- Demonstrate and explain product features and benefits to help patients select eyewear
- Document exams and patient interactions accurately in the EMR
- Serve as a brand representative to educate and excite patients and team members
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and incorporate new diagnostic technologies
Education
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active state optometry license (Iowa)
- Continuing education to maintain licensure
