Join Visa Treasury’s Digital Assets and Innovation team to help reshape how money moves with digital assets like stablecoins and NextGen payment rails. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Director of Digital Assets and Innovation to lead our stablecoin and digital asset initiatives in Treasury. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to leverage digital assets, drive innovation, and enhance our competitive edge in the market. In this role you’ll keep a close pulse on the crypto ecosystem—players, tech, and policy—and turn research into clear recommendations. We’re looking for someone who brings big ideas and takes ownership, yet stays grounded in treasury fundamentals like liquidity, settlement, reconciliation, and controls. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital assets strategy for treasury that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
Lead cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative digital asset solutions.
Oversee the management and optimization of digital assets, ensuring they are effectively utilized to drive business growth.
Collaborate with internal and external treasury stakeholders to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Continuously monitor emerging technologies and regulatory development and market trends to identify strategic opportunities for Visa in the space of stablecoin and inform decision making for Treasury and Product Leadership teams.

Basic Qualifications
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
•Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
•15+ years of experience in a senior leadership role focused on digital assets and innovation.
•Strong understanding of digital asset management, blockchain technology, and other emerging technologies.
•Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
•Proven track record in people leadership, with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams through a clear, compelling vision that motivates others to lead.
Preferred Qualifications
•15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
•Experience in stablecoin, banking, treasury.
•Knowledge of data analytics and leveraging AI.
•Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to digital assets.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
