Skills
- Proficient in CATIA V5 (Generative Shape Design, Assembly Design, and FT&A).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of machining and assembly manufacturing processes.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably Syteline.
- Familiarity with PLM systems, preferably SmarTeam/3DX.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop CATIA V5 fabrication and assembly manufacturing models using Generative Shape Design, Assembly Design, and FT&A workbenches.
- Ensure all part and customer requirements are met by collaborating with the Manufacturing Engineering department.
- Develop and maintain modeling standards focused on hole requirements for NC Programming and masking for processing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, specifications, and customer documentation for new and existing products.
- Manage workflows within PLM systems (SmarTeam/3DX) to support New Product Introduction, ECRs, Part Number Rolls, and VAEP projects.
- Operate relevant software including Microsoft Office, SmarTeam, and Syteline ERP.
- Transition existing 2D documents to 3D environments independently while meeting deadlines.
- Follow workplace rules, interact well with coworkers, and be willing to work overtime as required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Technology Engineering or equivalent aerospace manufacturing experience.
