The Marketing Data Analyst supports Legacy Traditional Schools by transforming marketing data into insights that directly impact student recruitment and family engagement. By integrating data from multiple platforms, developing clear dashboards, and delivering actionable analysis, this role ensures that marketing strategies are efficient, measurable, and continuously improving. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, the analyst provides the marketing team with the tools and knowledge needed to allocate resources effectively and optimize campaigns—helping more families find and connect with the educational opportunities we provide.
Essential Functions:
1. Data Integration & Governance
Collect and consolidate data from web analytics, CRM, paid media, SIS, application, and automation platforms.
Own and maintain data pipelines and integrations (e.g., GA, HubSpot, SchoolMint, SIS).
Establish and enforce metric definitions and data governance standards.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of marketing data across all sources.
2. Marketing Analytics & Insights
Analyze campaign-level customer behavior, audience segments, and enrollment patterns.
Conduct A/B test design, execution, and readouts to guide campaign optimization.
Develop enrollment forecasts, track cost-per-lead (CPL), and monitor conversion metrics.
Provide clear, actionable insights that translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
3. Reporting & Visualization
Build and maintain custom dashboards that communicate marketing performance to stakeholders.
Automate recurring reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Tailor reports to meet the needs of marketing leadership and other business units.
Present data findings in a clear and compelling way to support decision-making.
4. Financial & Performance Analysis
Monitor budget utilization, pacing, and variance across campaigns.
Evaluate ROI of paid media and marketing initiatives.
Identify optimization opportunities to maximize enrollment impact per dollar spent.
Partner with marketing leaders to refine strategy based on financial and performance metrics.
5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Stay current with trends in marketing analytics, tools, and methodologies.
Recommend and implement new tools, methods, and processes to improve efficiency.
Identify opportunities to streamline internal data workflows and reporting processes.
Support innovation in marketing data analysis to better serve student recruitment goals.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing analytics, campaign analysis, or a data-focused marketing role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and one programming language (Python or R).
Tools: Hands-on experience with web analytics, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and marketing automation tools.
Visualization: Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).
Data Governance: Knowledge of best practices for data accuracy, consistency, and hygiene across marketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or related platforms.
Experience with student information systems (Infinite Campus, PowerSchool) and application platforms (SchoolMint).
Familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms and digital media buying tools.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including statistical and financial modeling.
