Skills
- 4+ years of software engineering with a focus on front end development
- Proven experience shipping customer-facing products or internal tools
- In-depth expertise in modern front end frameworks and web platforms
- Strong UI/UX sensibility and customer-focused design thinking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and delivering iterative improvements
- Experience or familiarity with integration platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, HRIS) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient, user-friendly UI/UX for Verkada partners and internal users
- Collaborate with product managers to simplify and enhance the Verkada transaction process
- Identify friction points and propose technical and process improvements
- Lead projects from ideation through implementation and release
- Develop customer empathy to inform product decisions and improvements
- Mentor and support junior engineers on the team
- Maintain and improve integrations and data flows used by finance, orders, supply chain, and people teams
- Favor automation and metrics-driven solutions over manual operations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant continuous learning or professional development in front end technologies encouraged
