Site Reliability Engineer, SaaS
Skills
- 3+ years in 24x7 production operations for SaaS or cloud services
- Strong Azure IaaS and PaaS experience and familiarity with cloud services (Entra ID, Cosmos DB, Functions, Storage)
- Hands-on experience with observability tools (Azure Monitor, AppInsights, Elastic Stack)
- Experience with container orchestration and management platforms
- Proficiency in scripting or system programming (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Terraform, CloudFormation) and Serverless Framework
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (Azure DevOps, Git-based pipelines)
- Experience with distributed event messaging (Event Hub, Service Bus, Kafka)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure and additional cloud platforms.
- Automate deployments and maintain a resilient, secure, efficient SaaS application platform to meet SLAs.
- Operate and support CI/CD, delivery and release pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions and respond to incidents in production environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and perform incident response and post-incident analysis.
- Drive continuous reliability, performance, and scalability improvements across distributed, multi-tenant systems.
- Ensure compliance with information security and regulatory standards (ISO, SOX, SSAE16) and document internal standards and best practices.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrable hands-on experience operating production cloud/SaaS infrastructure
