Skills
- 5+ years building production software and cloud-native services
- Experience designing and implementing SaaS or large-scale cloud services on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, Scala, or Rust
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message-based systems
- Strong abilities in testing, debugging, and delivering concurrent, scalable systems
- Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms) and familiarity with modern AI concepts (LLMs, vector databases)
- Knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly reliable, scalable SaaS microservices integrated with cloud-managed services using Python, Java, Go, and related technologies
- Write high-quality, secure, and well-tested code; own CI/CD and deployment artifacts for your services
- Participate in on-call rotation and take ownership of service reliability and production incidents
- Drive technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor peers
- Implement event-driven architectures and ensure efficient, concurrent system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams to deliver platform features and meet compliance requirements related to data privacy and security
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus but not required
