Responsibilities
- Optimize and develop all aspects of the machining manufacturing process
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop manufacturable processes for new designs
- Create and manage manufacturing BOMs, work instructions, and specifications
- Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain new machines; develop SOPs and coordinate with machine suppliers
- Perform root cause analyses on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
- Review drawings and CAD data for manufacturability and provide design-for-manufacturing feedback
- Produce reports, procedures, and manuals to mature processes for production
- Develop reliable processes and controls to support launch schedules
- Help develop process and procedure controls to achieve AS9100D compliance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or related engineering (required)
- Master’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering (preferred)
