Skills
- Deep expertise in Shopify and/or Adobe Commerce architecture and implementation
- Hands-on cloud-native architecture and headless commerce design
- Experience with API design, integrations and middleware/iPaaS
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills; ability to sell technical concepts
- Proven ability to estimate work, identify risks and manage delivery trade-offs
- Familiarity with ALM/DevOps tools and agile delivery practices
- Experience integrating commerce with ERPs (SAP, D365, NetSuite) is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design cloud-native, headless commerce architectures and lead technical solution design
- Act as SME for Shopify and/or Adobe Commerce, guiding frontend/backend integration and deployments
- Estimate epics/stories, identify dependencies and risks, and provide effort estimates for sales scenarios
- Lead and mentor development teams and senior engineers; drive development methodology and delivery excellence
- Serve as a client-facing technical lead and sales engineer, presenting solutions and managing expectations
- Contribute to requirements analysis, acceptance criteria, and project planning with PMs and account teams
- Recommend improvements for performance, security, operations and cost within enterprise solutions
- Integrate commerce platforms with ERPs and middleware where required
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience
- Relevant architecture, cloud or platform certifications are a plus
