Skills
- Proven leadership and people management experience in global QA teams.
- Strong API and backend automation skills (Playwright, Postman).
- Mobile automation experience with XCUITest and Espresso and device cloud integration.
- CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
- Experience with performance, security, accessibility, and i18n/l10n testing.
- Cloud platform familiarity (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Agile development experience and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global QA team of full-time and contractor members, fostering accountability and high performance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies (functional, integration, performance, accessibility, compatibility, i18n/l10n) for APIs, web, and mobile.
- Own backend automation efforts and ensure API/integration coverage using Playwright/Postman integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee mobile automation testing for iOS and Android (XCUITest, Espresso) and manage device farm/cloud testing integrations.
- Collaborate with Product, PM, Development, and Customer stakeholders in Agile delivery cycles.
- Manage test environments, configuration, and availability for consistent QA execution.
- Define QA KPIs, vision, goals, and strategy while promoting an automation-first mindset.
- Recommend, implement, and maintain QA infrastructure and non-production environments for uninterrupted testing.
- Integrate automated suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) and monitor quality metrics.
- Participate in employee engagement, performance management, and organizational initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Relevant QA or testing certifications are a plus (e.g., ISTQB).
