Digital Content Manager

Digital Content Manager will report to the Executive Director of Advertising & Communication and work with Marketing leadership to plan, design, and execute cohesive strategies, creation, and deployment for all digital channels, including web, social, and email. The Digital Content Manager will manage a team that will assist with all web and social content. The Digital Content Manager will also collaborate with the Media Buyer in planning our Digital advertising content, gather available analytics, and be responsible for implementing and evolving our SEM/SEO. This individual will work with their team to craft and implement a cohesive social media and web marketing strategy. This person will be a part of a dynamic, energized team and will have the opportunity to lead all digital campaigns to increase guest retention, and attract new guests. This person will need to be able to manage multiple and changing priorities and execute with tight deadlines. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
The Digital Content Manager is responsible for leading the planning, strategy, execution, and optimization of all digital channels, including the website, mobile app, social media, and email marketing. This individual will manage and develop a high-performing team, ensuring all content aligns with brand voice, visual standards, and overarching marketing goals.
In collaboration with Marketing leadership and the Media Buyer, the Digital Content Manager will drive the development and performance of digital advertising campaigns, optimize SEM/SEO efforts, and analyze results to continually refine strategy. This role also serves as a primary liaison for any third-party digital agencies, ensuring cohesive execution across platforms. This person will need to be able to manage multiple and changing priorities and execute with tight deadlines. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Work with Advertising and Direct Mail to execute email campaigns for new and existing customers in both retail and database markets.
2.    Execute, measure and report on email campaign efficacy across all Seneca Gaming Corporation brands.
3.    Identify and report on which campaigns encourage guest retention and loyalty based on best practices.
4.    Create journeys and journey mapping analyzing touchpoints and leveraging cross-marketing, upsell strategies.
5.    Deploy testing strategies for all email campaigns and report out on the most effective approach.
6.    Create and deliver email-reporting analyses, along with opportunistic recommendations to marketing leadership.
7.    Work with marketing leadership in the design for all email campaigns.
8.    Work within a Content Management System for website updates. 
9.    Work with various departments to ensure that all websites are updated with relevant and current information, as well as ensure the creative is updated and fresh.
10.    Manage social media and web team.
11.    Plans, implements and conducts research of SEO to run effective campaigns, as well optimize the company’s website, social media and other content efforts.
12.    Strategize with the Media Buyer to optimize our search engine marketing.
13.    Adhere to Purchasing, HR, and TERO compliance requirements.
14.    Promote positive public relations.
15.    Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
16.    Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
17.    Attend all necessary meetings.
18.    Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.  Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
 Education/Experience:

1.    Must be 21 years of age or older upon employment.
2.    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or relevant marketing degree is required.
3.    Must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in email marketing.
4.    Must have proven experience in developing and implement SEM/SEO campaigns.
5.    Knowledge and an understanding of CMS, CRS and e-mail marketing required. Salesforce and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
6.    Google Analytics certification is a plus.
7.    Must have experience leading teams in a collaborative environment.
8.    Experience in executing email and online marketing campaigns.
9.    Must have experience and an advanced working knowledge of HTML.
10.    Must have experience and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver
11.    Must have experience with creating, deploying, and reporting on email campaigns.
12.    Must be proficient with web and app platforms.
13.    Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Word and Excel is required.
14.    Must be able to communicate strategies effectively, both in writing and verbally. 
15.    Must be highly creative, outgoing team player, and able to work well at a high pace under tight deadlines.
16.    Must have a proven ability to work effectively with little guidance in a single or team environment.
17.    Will be required to work some evenings and weekends so scheduling flexibility and dependability required.

1.    Must possess excellent communications skills.
2.    Must have the ability to write and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
3.    Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
4.    Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner within the specified guidelines of the Interactive Marketing position.
 
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.  When on the Casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.  Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.  Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.
1.   Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the Casino for extended periods.
2.   Must have excellent hearing abilities.
3.   Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and members of the business community in all situations.
4.   Must be able to sit and operate a computer for an extended period of time.
 

Salary Starting Rate:

$68,697.18

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
 

Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
